He advised that in all the activities undertaken by the Zonal Railway-train operations and maintenance-due attention to safe working should always be given. He listed the punctual running of trains as his second most important Priority and the development of infrastructure and timely completion of infrastructure related works as his third most important priority. He advised that in every case, proper identification of the problem should be done and the possible solutions to the same generated. Speaking on human resource he advised that the grassroots workers of the railways like the gangmen, trackmen, shuntmen, porters etc. are the most important resource of the organization and they should be adequately cared for and their problems should be solved on priority. Speaking on the Kumbh-Mela-2019 he said that “Delivery schedules have to be adhered to and amongst the ongoing works the works relating to the Kumbh Mela have to be given priority, which must be reviewed and expedited where ever necessary.“NCR is a zonal railway with its own set of unique challenges, but we are a team and together we will tackle all the challenges that are in front of us” he added.
