ORGANISATION & ASSETS:

 

Divisional Railway Hospital, Jhansi is one of the oldest hospital on Indian Railways. In old time, it was a dispensary running in old building behind DRM’s Office. The present hospital building was started in 1958 & the hospital was commissioned in 1961as 100 bedded hospital. It was upgraded in phased manner up to 205 bedded in 1997.

 It is  two storied building which consist of-

i.On the ground floor- OPD wing, X-ray dept., Laboratory, Family Welfare Center & Administrative block, kitchen, Medical Store, Male Medical wards,  TB ward & Isolation Wards.

ii.On first floor - Male & Female Surgical Ward, Children Ward, O.T., Labour room, ICU  &   Special Cabins.

Performance:

            Major achievements/ Highlights during the year 2015-16:

1.Saving of Rs. 480997/- (Approx.) by using Surplus medicines at Jhansi collected from other divisions.

2.Saving of Rs. 641564/- (Approx.) by sending Surplus medicines to other division from Jhansi division.

3.Twenty Seven (27) Multipurpose Health checkup Camp organized at various locations of Jhansi division- patient examined 1633.

4.Three (03) School Health Checkup Camp for students organized at Railway School of Jhansi, children examined- 428.

5.Twenty Three (23)Para Medical staff training organized at DRH- Jhansi staff trained- 69.    

6.Pulse Polio National round organized, Children Immunized Railway- 2280, Non Railway- 11634.

7.Safai Abhiyan Workshop organized  at DRH- Jhansi on 15th August, 30th September & 2ndOctober-2015.

8.Swach Bharat Mission organized at workplace from 01.03.16 to 15.03.16.

9.Swach Bharat Mission organized at Mahoba Railway colony on 14.03.16.

10.This hospital had treated almost all cases of Dengue in the year 2015 and lab of DRH- Jhansi is fully equipped for the diagnosis of positive dengue case ( Test like MS1 and IgGM)

11.Dormitory- Accommodation in DRH-Jhansi for attendant of Railway patients- Item of MR budget speech, inaugurated by DRM- Jhansi.

12.Multi- specialty National conference (MEDI- MILAN) organized by IRMS Association- Jhansi in the month of April, Theme was “Life Style Disease.”

13.Provision of Road Mobile Van in GWL- Shivpurkalan is under process through which medical facility will be provided to Railway beneficiaries at all way side stations.

14. Till date 431 train calls were attended by Railway doctors at Jhansi station for serious ailing patients of public travelling through Jhansi stations.

·Posting of regular Radiologist & ENT surgeon at DRH- Jhansi.

·Posting of regular Doctors against vacancies at DRH- Jhansi & in H Units.

M&P 2013-14- Rly Board (above 10 Lacs)  :

  • Proposal for two items for inclusion in M&P 2013-14 at Rly Brd’s level.
      • Green Laser Photo Coagulator.
      • Computed Radiography System.

M&P 2013-14- GM -LSG (below 10 Lacs)  :

  •  Proposal for seven items for inclusion in M&P 2013-14 at GM’s level.
      • C- Arm 9” IITV System.
      • Endoscopic H D Camera Singlechip.
      • H D Laproscope with LC Monitor & LED light source.
      • Lapchole Set.
      • Oxygen concentrator 06 set for ICU.
      • High speed sterilizer cassette type.
      • A Scan.

Innovations & system improvement:

  • Dormitory of Railway Hospital, Jhansi..  
  • Hospital improvement work like construction of new casualty wing, renovation of TB ward & other repair work under progress.

Following proposals have been sent to DRM (W)/JHS & HQ-ALD for inclusion in PWP 2016-17:

·Implementation of Hospital information and management system at DRH-Jhansi.

·Provision of lift at DRH-Jhansi.

·Planning & development of modern causality.
