ORGANISATION & ASSETS:

Divisional Railway Hospital, Jhansi is one of the oldest hospital on Indian Railways. In old time, it was a dispensary running in old building behind DRM’s Office. The present hospital building was started in 1958 & the hospital was commissioned in 1961as 100 bedded hospital. It was upgraded in phased manner up to 205 bedded in 1997.

It istwo storied building which consist of-

i.On the ground floor- OPD wing, X-ray dept., Laboratory, Family Welfare Center & Administrative block, kitchen, Medical Store, Male Medical wards,TB ward & Isolation Wards.

On first floor - Male & Female Surgical Ward, Children Ward, O.T., Labour room&Special Cabins.

Major achievements/ Highlights during the year 2012-13:

1.Thirty Four, First Aid training organized at Divl Hosp Jhansi for RPF, commercial & Engg. departments, No. of staff attended-192

2.
Twenty Nine, Multi purpose Health checkup Camp organized in the division, 871 patients were examined.


3.
Executive Health Check-up camp is being organized at DRH- Jhansi, in the month of May-2013, 17 BOs are examined so far.


4.
Pulse Polio Prog. started in division , number of children immunized:

Railway- 5444, Non Railway- 56313



5.
Investigations done at DRH- Jhansi during the year:

TMT- 34, Holter Monitor- 18, 2-D ECHO Cardiography- 71



6.
Family Planning activities done at DRH- Jhansi:

Sterilization- 27, IUD insertion - 21



7.
Surplus medicines were prevented from getting expired by sending them to the other Rly Hospital as such a total amount of Rs. 447795/- (approx) were saved from wastage.


8.
Surplus medicines were collected which were available in other divisions & used at Jhansi division as such Railway revenue of Rs 10263013/- (approx) were saved by utilizing surplus drugs.


9.
No. of CT Scan done is reduced by 71 as compared to last year & as such Rs. 113600/- were saved and 66 MRI was reducedas compared to the last year & as such Rs. 184800/- were saved.



10.
Dr Mrs Rekha Agarwal & Dr Mrs Asha Shukla started work of Gynecologist on Case to case basis at DRH- Jhansi wef 10.01.13, till date LSCS- 17, Abdominal Hysterectomy- 05, Vaginal Hysterectomy- 04 done by them.


11.
Dr Prateek Gubrelle started work of Part time Dental Surgeon at DRH- Jhansi wef 30.01.13, till date Extraction- 104, Surgical Extraction- 37 are done.


12.
Following items were received & installed at Divl Railway Hospital, Jhansi

oBiochemistry Analyzer for Biochemistry.

oOne Foetal Monitor for Paed Deptt.

oTen Ultrasonic nebulizer.

oOne Electrolyte Analyzer.

oOne Computerized Field Analyzer.

oOne CPAP machine.

oEM- 360 Fully automated Bio- Chemistry Auto Analyzer.

Important issues requiring attention:

  • Regarding recognition of Shri Jee Hospital – Jhansi for Haemo dialysis is under process.

·Dr Mrs J Dixit- ACMS-Gynae is still under private sick since December- 2012.

·Dr Mrs Sunita Tigga- DMO- Gynae is also gone for long maternity leave.

M&P 2013-14- Rly Board (above 10 Lacs):

  • Proposal for three items for inclusion in M&P 2013-14 at Rly Brd’s level.

M&P 2012-13- GM -LSG (below 10 Lacs):

  • Proposal for seven items for inclusion in M&P 2013-14 at Rly Brd’s level.

W.P:

  • Dormitory of Railway Hospital,Jhansi–Under construction about75% completed.
