ELECTRICAL (TD)                                                 (update 16-08-2017)

1. INTRODUCTION:

Jhansi division has electrified section from DHO (Excluding) to Bina (Excluding) (314.66 RKM & 840.52 TKM)& JHS to GOY (230.57 RKM & 325.71TKM) totaling  545.23 RKM & 1166.23TKM.

There are 08Traction sub stations, out of which 04 Traction Substations, Lalitpur, Mustara, Moth and Lalpur get 132 KV incoming supply from DVVNL (UPPCL) and 04 Traction Substations namely Hetampur, Gwalior, Datia, Basai get 132 KV incoming supply from RGPPL through open access.

          2.    ORGANISATION

         Gazetted-          Sr.DEE (TD) is assisted by two Sr.Scale Officers (One at Gwalior &                                                          One at  Jhansi) and Two Jr. scale officers (One at Lalitpur, & One at                                                          ORAI).

         Non-Gazetted – Sanctioned strength- 542Nos.

                                                          On Roll-430 Nos.

                                                          Vacancies-112 Nos.

* From 22.01.16 BZY, DAA, GWL and from 20.03.16 HET/TSS  has been shifted on  open access and energy bills of these TSS are paid by WCR and TAV are being accepted by JHS Division.

5. Saving in Energy bills:-

           Since 22.01.2016 at 12.00Hrs. supply of DAA, BZY & GWL/TSS and from 20.03.2016 at 24Hrs. supply of HET/TSS transferred from MPMKVV.Co.Ltd to  RGPPL through open access and debit for energy is being raised by WCR as open access bills are co-ordinated by WCR. In comparison to previous bills of MPMKVV with open access total saving due to low unit cost is-

Rs.6,33,33,220/- has been saved from 22-1-16 to 31-3-16.

Rs. 42,21,83,953/- has been saved from 1-4-16 to 31-3-17.

Rs. 9,90,06,573/- has been saved Upto June-17.

     6.RELIABILITY MEASURES

          For improving reliability of OHE, the following actions have being taken.

  7.    OTHER IMPORTANT WORK

(a) A drive has been launched for checking of double strap available between 9-tonne & compensating plate, total 10Nos. new double strap has been provided & 12Nos. compensating plate has been rectified & cumulative up to the month total 112Nos. new double strap has been provided & 95Nos. tilted compensating plate has been rectified.

(b)286Nos.  high creepage  polluted zone insulator has been replaced at DCPG

polluted zone yard.

(c) InPIC yard 14Nos. new boom, 02Nos. Upright & 04Nos. TTB mast has been

             erected and load has been shifted from existing old mast to newmast by

             RVNL.

(d)In MSV-GRM section Km-1136 to 1137/24 to reduce the gradient track uplifted about 72Cm. Accordingly OHE shifted on new mast & other associated work PTFE N/S, IOL, UIOL, Isolator, ATD, ACA etc. also completed  with RVNL. 

(e)02Nos. new catenary wire (720Mtr. & 730Mtr.) has been provided at JHS PF   

      no.4 & PF no.5 and tramway type OHE is being converted into conventional

      type.

(f)06Nos. PT modification done at MSV/TSS and PIC/SSP by providing PT 

      fuse.

(g)2.2Kv anti theft charging EIG sanction has been received for the section  Jhansi(Excl.) to Harpalpur (Incl.) Km-1290/90.5 to 1214/376.

(h)25Kv EIG sanction has been received for the section LAR(Excl.) to Udaipura(Incl.) Km-1039/282.50 to 1071/61.50 (RKM-32.0 & TKM-40.8).

(i)EIG sanction received for 21.6/30.24MVA traction transformer CKT-II at 

      LLR/TSS and transformer ideally charged.

(j)EIG sanction received of TR-19 of CKT-I at MSV/TSS and TSS taken on

     load.

(k)EIG sanction received for the IGBT based fixed HT and dynamic reactive capacitor unit at HET/TSS.

(l)EIG for JHS-Parichha section doubling has been submitted to HQ (RKM-24.24, TKM-31.505).

(m)To avoid over load tripping of DAA/TSS, BJI/SP to JHS/SP section has been shifted on BZY/TSS after both transformer taken on load on Dt: 19.7.17.

(n)For conversion Tramway type OHE to Conventional type OHE 03Nos. New

     SI has been provided at JHS PF-4&5. 

(o)60Nos. new cantilever has been provided for conversion Tramway type OHE to Conventional type OHE at JHS PF-4&5. 

(p)CRS inspection has been done at newly electrified LAR-UDAIPURA section on Dt: 05.08.17.

(q)06 nos. 105 square mm isolator jumper has been replaced with 160 square mm copper jumper wire at SS-218, 218A, SM-151.

(r)01Nos. new cross feeder provided at SOR/SSP and 02Nos. modified drop   

     jumper also provided.

8.Assistance required:-

        Proposal for creation of 115 posts for JHS-CNB doubling has been sent to HQ after Div. account vetting on dated: 28.02.2014. The same may be expedited.
