Rail Robocop "ASC ARJUN" ‘s First Catch of habitual criminals through AI-Powered FRS
On the night of 02.02.2026 at about 2010 hrs, Robocop "ASC Arjun", who was in surveillance & patrolling in Platform No.01 of Visakhapatnam station alerted the "RPF CCTV Control Room" VSKP about a suspect's presence in the station analyzing (scan and compare feature) pre-loaded Photos/database of criminals. This helped RPF in apprehending two habitual criminals Hadapa Shiva and G.Bhangaru who are having 50 and 12 criminal cases against them.
This milestone marks the first real-time identification of habitual Offender's by Rail Robocop "ASC Arjun" in a crowded area, showcasing its potential to revolutionize crime prevention & detection against the Passengers at VSKP Station. A few pictures are attached.
