While replying to a question in Parliament how many Vande Bharat trains serve Uttar Pradesh and whether there is any provision to provide these trains to routes connecting Etah, Kasganj, Bareilly, Mathura, and Farrukhabad. Hon’ble MR answered that Several cities in Uttar Pradesh like Saharanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, and Meerut are already connected by Vande Bharat.
He highlighted that the Prime Minister has allocated 20,000 crore rupees in the budget for Uttar Pradesh, with total railway investment exceeding one lakh crore rupees, covering many new trains and ongoing projects.
