During this intensive training campaign, conducted from April 2 to April 10, 2026, under the coordination of the Personnel Department of North Central Railway, the divisions and workshops of North Central Railway have demonstrated their excellence on the platform of Indian Railways. To commemorate this glorious achievement, North Central Railway was honored with awards across various categories by the Chief Guest—the Honorable Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh—at a grand felicitation ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on April 17, 2026.
In this campaign, the Jhansi Division of North Central Railway hoisted its banner of success by securing the first position across the entire Indian Railways network. The Jhansi Division was conferred with a 'Special Award' for its exceptional performance in fostering a culture of continuous learning and promoting institutional capacity building among government officials. Notably, 77.45% of the employees in the Jhansi Division successfully completed the stipulated learning requirement of 4+ hours. North Central Railway's dominance was not limited to Jhansi alone; indeed, all three of North Central Railway's divisions secured a place within the list of the top five divisions across Indian Railways. Among them, the Agra Division secured the third position, while the Prayagraj Division ranked fourth.
Similarly, in the 'Workshops' category, two institutions under North Central Railway also made their mark. The CMLR (Carriage & Wagon Workshop, Jhansi) secured the second position on the list, with 84.35% of its employees completing the 4+ hours of learning. Meanwhile, the Jhansi Workshop secured the fourth position, with 79.16% of its employees registering their active participation in this learning campaign.
The officers and employees of the Personnel Department of North Central Railway played a pivotal role in making this campaign a success, under the leadership of Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Mr. Mudit Chandra.
At this felicitation ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, Shri Satish Kumar, Chairman and CEO of the Railway Board, and Ms. V.G. Bhuma, Additional Member (HR), received the honor on behalf of Indian Railways. Meanwhile, for this achievement by North Central Railway, the prestigious award was received by Shri Mudit Chandra, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, and Shri Aniruddh Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager (Jhansi).

Personnel from North Central Railway also participated enthusiastically in this initiative; a large number of learners earned the 'AI Daksh' badge, thereby demonstrating their commitment to future-oriented technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI). This success marks a significant milestone in North Central Railway's ongoing efforts to align its operational efficiency and dedication to service with global standards.
