Swachhta Pakhwada is being organized by North Central Railway from 17th September to 2nd October 2024. Swachhta Pakhwada was inaugurated on 17.9.2024 by Shri Upendra Chandra Joshi, General Manager with a Bycycle awareness rally and Shramdaan with the slogan “Swabhaav Swachhta Sanskar Swachhta” in Railgaon Colony of North Central Railway Headquarters. North Central Railway's first Mianwaki plantation was done under the name of “Ek Ped Maa ke Naam” by planting various plants of indigenous species in about 400 square meters. The General Manager administered the oath of cleanliness to all the officers, employees, scouts and guides, sports team, RPF staff, etc. The support of about 200 people was received in the entire program including Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer Shri Animesh Kumar Sinha , Principal Chief Electrical Engineer Shri Anoop Kumar Agrawal, Principal Chief Personnel Officer Shri Anurag Tripathi, Shri V.K. Garg etc.
Similarly, under the leadership of Divisional Railway Manager of Jhansi, Shri D.K. Sinha, cleanliness oath was administered at all stations and tree plantation was done at all stations. Under the leadership of Divisional Railway Manager , Agra Division, Shri Tej Prakash Agarwal, cleanliness oath, street plays, tree plantation, scout and guide rally etc. programs were organized at all stations. Under the leadership of Divisional Railway Manager , Prayagraj Division, Shri Himanshu Badoni, cleanliness oath, street plays, tree plantation, scout and guide rally etc. programs were organized at all stations. Cleanliness oath and tree plantation etc. programs were organized in all workshops of North Central Railway.
All the above programs were organized by the Environment and Housekeeping Branch of North Central Railway.
