Almost all departments are regularly organising web-based seminars now and latest one was organised by NCRS&T branch on maintenance related issue of Integrated Power Supply (IPS) for signalling system. IPS is a very important part of signalling system which ensures uninterrupted power supply to signallingequipment at station in event of power failure .Chief Signal Engineer , Sri NeerajYadav organised a webinar on IPS system for S&T officials of NCR involving OEM of IPS which is installed at 455 stations over NCR . Sri Arun Kumar PCSTE NCR also joined in this seminar attended by 219 participants and gave valuable inputs on reliability improvement of IPS .

·Tender calling and finalizations etc. are already online and now Indian Railway Works Contract ManagementSystem (IRWCMS)has been implemented on NCR. This will allow online signing of agreement, monitoring progressof work, measurement etc.bringing efficiency, transparency and most importantly requisite social distancing in execution of works.

·Video call/ conference-based staff grievance redressal and consultation with doctor etc. have been implemented in all three divisions of North Central Railway. All meetings are already being done using VC facility.Refresher and other trainings are also being organised throughonline means including evaluation of participants.

·E-office has been implemented in all three divisions and HQ office. Now VPN connection have also been provided to Railway Employees to use e-Office without need of Railnet and they can use any internet connection to run e-Office application while working from home.
