Amid Covid-19 farewell function of PCPO NCR Sri Sriprakash and CWE NCR Sri D K Nayak organized with social distancing in NCR HQ
Settlement payment and other dues paid to 244 superannuating employees through electronic means over North Central Railway
On 30.06.20 a farewell function was organized in NCR HQ office for Sri Sriprakash Principal Chief personnel officer and Sri D K Nayak Chief Workshop Engineer superannuating today from Railway service. Amid Covid-19 this small function organized with social distancing was Chaired by General Manager North Central & Northern Railway Sri Rajiv Chaudhary, and attended by Principal head of departments of the Railway while Additional General Manager NCR Sri Ranjan Yadav and SDGM NCR Sri N K Sinha joined through video conference to bid farewell to superannuating officers.
Speaking on the occasion General Manager Sri Rajiv Chaudhry congratulated both officers for their successful career in Railways and NCR in particular and wished them a healthy and fulfilling retired life . He further added that retirement provides us new opportunity to work for social cause besides fulfilling our personal responsibilities and cherishing the work and memories developed over service life. Sri Chaudhry said that Sri Nayak has done wonderful work in his profession field and Sri Sriprkash has been instrumental in implementing many welfare schemes for Railway employees over NCR including restructuring benefits to trackmen and other categories , timely completion of selections , promotions , financial upgradation under MACP schemes etc. which will go a long way in keeping morale high of our workforce , the most important asset of Railways.
Sri D K Nayak expressed his gratitude to General manager and all officers for rendering professional and personal support throughout his tenure on NCR . Sri SriPrakash PCPO NCR also thanked all official for their unconditional support and specifically expressed his gratitude to General Manager Sri Rajiv Chaudhry for guidance and support provided in dealing many compassionate appointment cases which will go a long way in helping family members of Railway employees deceased while in service. He also mentioned that with continuous support from GM , rotational transfer policy could be implemented in true sprit over NCR bringing efficiency and transparency in delivery of official works. All officers present in farewell function expressed best wishes to both officers superannuating today.
On 30.06.20 total 244 employees are superannuating over NCR including 37, 91, 106 & 10 from Agra, Jhansi and Prayagraj divisions and NCR HQ. Amid Covid-19 ,Pension Payment Orders have made available to retiring employee as well as to drawee banks either electronically or by sending special messenger to ensure timely payment of pension and other retirement due. To obviate requirement of physically being present to receive settlement dues during current Covd-19 crisis this electronic settlement facility has already been rendered to715 employees superannuated from railway service betweenMarch to June 2020 over North Central Railway.
