General Manager North Central and Northern Railway Sri Rajiv Chaudhry chairs the meeting of regional official language implementation committee
A meeting of the Regional Official Language Implementation Committee was held at HQ office under Chairmanship of Shri Rajiv Chaudhry, General Manager North Central and Northern Railway. Addressing all the officials present in the online meeting, General Manager Shri Chaudhry said that the traditional meeting of the official language and the direct discussions and deliberations held in it have special significance. But the changes that have taken place in direct group meetings and methodologies due to this global epidemic will also bring significant changes in our functioning.
He said that North Central railway has maintained mobility in train operations with complete promptness, dedication and sincerity in these extremely adverse conditions and our Railway men are true Corona warriors in this fight against pandemic. He said that all video, audio and awareness messages have been issued in Hindi . Shri Rajiv Chaudhry said that e-office being used in offices has option to work either in Hindi or English and instructed all departments, divisions and workshops to use the facility of working in Hindi to maximum extent. He added that for uniformity standard Hindi Unicode font, Mangal available in e-office should be used. Expressing his views at the meeting cum literary seminar organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of Goswami Tulsidas the greatest poet of Hindi language, culture and literature and the novel and story of emperor Premchand, General Manager, Shri Rajiv Chaudhry said that the literature of Goswami Tulsidas and Premchand's give message of humanity and aspirations. He added that, creations of both these great human beings show the light of hope in difficult and unfavorable conditions and lead to the right path for the individual and society. General Manager Sri Rajiv Chaudhry paid tribute by offering flowers on the portrait of Goswami Tulsidas and Munshi Premchand. At the beginning of the meeting, Mukya Rajbhasa Adhikari and Principal Chief Commercial Manager Shri. Mahendra Nath Ojha informed the committee that during Magh Mela, the use of Rajbhasha and philosophy of life of Mahatma Gandhi were exhibited in the camp of North Central Railway located in the Mela area. In the previous quarter, six Hindi workshops were conducted and training on computer keying in Hindi was organized.During the period, literary seminars were also organized to mark the birth anniversaries of many famous writers and poets .
On this occasion, Shri M N Ojha while discussing important aspects of literature of Goswami Tulsidas and Munshi Premchand said that Goswami Tulsidas was the patron of Indian literature and he expressed national pride and national identity in the heart of the people. Sri Ojha said that Premchand is the first real story emperor, because before him, Tilasmi and Aiyari were the mainstream story literature in the country and Premchand's Katha Sahityam is a literary work from ideal to reality. Shri Ojha said that , the literature of both Tulsidas and Premchand is a strong voice raised against injustice and Ati Char.
The meeting was attended through video conference by Additional General Manager Shri Ranjan Yadav along with all the Principal Heads of Departments, Additional Divisional Railway Managers of Divisions, Chief Workshop Mangers from workshops and other officers . Divisions and workshops apprised the General Manager about the progress of official language in their units . The meeting was conducted by Senior Rajbhasa Adhikari Shri Chandra Bhushan Pandey and Up Mukhya Rajbhas Adhikari Shri Shailendra Kumar Singh proposed vote of thanks.
