Dr.Shivam Sharma takes over the charge of CPRO/NCR

Today o­n 06.05.2021 Dr. ShivamSharma,an officer of Indian Railway Traffic Service belonging to 2011 batch of Civil Services took over the charge of Chief Public relations Officer North Central railway. Earlier he wasworking as Deputy Chief Operations Manager, NCR, Prayagraj.Hitherto He took over the charge from outgoing CPRO Shri Ajit Kumar Singh, who has been transferred & posted as ADRM/ Prayagraj.

Dr. Shivam Sharma had studied Dentistry from Faculty of Medicine, AMU and was actively involved in various cultural and extra cocurricular activities during his University days. He has been closely associated with the University and takes part in various functions organised by University, notably in the field of career guidance for aspiring civil servants.

He has been Divisional Traffic Manager Tundla during 2015-2017, o­ne of the most responsible assignments of Indian Railways as it manages Railway operations from Ghaziabad to Kanpur section of NCR. His other notable assignment being Deputy Chief Claims Officer, NCR where he is accredited to take steps in the establishment of a new bench of Railway Claims Tribunal in Prayagraj, which is the 20th bench of RCT in the country.

On this occasion a small formal farewell was organized following all covid protocals in the Public Relations department in the honour of outgoing CPRO Shri Ajit Kumar Singh. Sr. PRO Amit Malaviya welcomed the new CPRO Dr. Shivam Sharma and he also conveyed best wishes o­n behalf of PR department to the outgoing CPRO Shri Ajit Kumar Singh.
