NCR is all set to receive 10 oxygen concentrators of 10 leter capacity each from Shakurbasti Stores Depot.

As an initiative under Mission Oxygen, Plasser India Ltd has provided 70 oxygen concentrators to Shakurbasti Railway Stores Depot as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

In his efforts to strengthen the COVID infrastructure at Central Hospital Prayagraj and Jhansi, General Manager NCR Shri V.K. Tripathi put a request to Railway Board and got 10 of these oxygen concentrators allotted for NCR.

It is worth mentioning that as Prayagraj is getting gripped with the pandemic, Central Railway Hospital is battling hard in the fight against COVID. Central Hospital Prayagraj and Jhansi both have been nominated as Level 2 hospitals for admission of COVID patients. The hospitals are providing health care facilities to Railway as well as non- Railway patients down with COVID infection.

Principal Chief Medical Director, North Central Railway Dr. Anand Tandon told that they are in touch with Railway Board and it is expected that these oxygen concentrators will be delivered in the hospital tomorrow(11/5/21). These 10 oxygen concentrators will equally be divided between Railway Hospital Jhansi and Prayagraj (5 each).

With the installation of these oxygen concentrators NCR's fight against corona will get new momentum.

NCR is in the process of strengthening it's health infrastructure against COVID and more such equipments will be provided to Railway Hospitals in days to come, told Dr Dr. Anand Tandon (PCMD).
