Top officials of NCR Headquarter and Prayagaraj Division visited Iradatganjstation
GM NCR in his VC on Wednesday instructed officials to to finalize connection with DFC and possibility of longer loop at Iradatganj.
Saturday marked an important day for Iradatganj as top Railway Officers along with DFC officials conducted a joint visit to the station and adjoining area to explore the possibilities of a longer loop and it's connection to DFC.
It is proposed to construct a longer loop at Iradatganj station as trains on DFC will run as long hauls. A longer loop is of double the length of a normal loop line and is used for holding trains for crossings. Trains coming from Western, Central and West Central Railway from Manikpur side can directly be handed over to DFC via this connection without touching Prayagraj.
