New GM/NCR Shri Pramod Kumar holds meeting with officers at NCR

Shri Pramod Kumar conductedwindow trailing inspection of Manikpur-Prayagraj Section

Today (on dt-02082021) o­n his arrival at Prayagraj after taking charge o­n 30th July as GM/NCR Shri Pramod Kumar addressed the meeting of officers at NCR headquarter office. All PHODs, senior officers of NCR were present in the meeting and DRMs of all the three divisions along with branch officers joined through video conferencing.

Earlier, Shri Pramod Kumar conducted window trailing inspection of Manikpur-Prayagraj section of Prayagraj Division.DRM/Prayagraj Shri Mohit Chandra accompanied him during the inspection.It is to be informed thatWindow-trailing inspection is a specialized inspection in the Indian Railways in which the track and its surrounding installations like signals, OHE, platforms etc are inspected from the rear window of an inspection car attached to a moving train.During the inspection, important parameters like cleanliness and overall condition of stations falling en-route, riding quality of the train-especially o­n points and crossings, improvement in Track Geometry Index (TGI),OHE status, Condition of level crossing gates en-route etc were observed by the General Manager/North Central Railway. General Manager expressed satisfaction over the overall upkeep of the section and announced a group award for the Prayagraj Division.

After reaching Headquarter office, Subedarganj, while addressing the officers Shri Pramod Kumar expressed his feeling of satisfaction for getting opportunity to serve again at Prayagraj.While highlighting about his priorities Shri Kumar said that safe and punctual train operations, enhancement in asset reliability along with building a cohesive atmosphere for our most precious asset i.e.human resource are utmost priorities. He said, a satisfied employee is the key for a shining organization so we should create a positive working environment.He also said that together we will be doing a lot of positive things & we will have to work as a cohesive team.He appealed to all officers to perform more than their capacities to bring laurels for NCR and in turn for Indian Railways.
