Sr. DSC of Agra Division/Agra/NCR ShriPrakash Panda attended the annual tribute program organized at Martyrs Memorial site located at Hot Spring, Ladakh.

25 police officers from different parts of the country are selected to participate in the program

Our police personnel are always ready in the service of the country, and do not hesitate to lay down their lives to protect their country.Demonstrating such indomitable bravery, in 1959 ten policemen laid down their lives in an unequal battle with armed Chinese soldiers.A memorial site has been constructed at the place of martyrdom of those martyrs at Hot Spring situated at an altitude of 16000 feet.Every year 25 police officers from different parts of the country are chosen to pay homage to the martyrs at this memorial site, who reach the place of martyrdom through a difficult journey and pay homage to the brave martyrs.

This yearSr.DSCof Agra Division/Agra/NCRShriPrakash Panda was selected to represent RPF as a part of annual police party visit to Hot Spring situated in Aksai area of Ladakh. After a long and difficult journey through road via Chandigarh-Kullu-Keylong-Sarchu-Leh-Phobrang-Tsogsalu, he reached the Hot spring to pay homage.Shri Panda paid tribute to the brave martyrs by participating in this program remembering the valor of the martyrs along with the All India Police Party.

It is a proud moment for North Central Railway as the experience of Sr. DSC/Agra/North Central Railway will be a source of inspiration for RPF personnel in motivating them to complete their work with full efficiency and valor.
