Safety should never be compromised at all: GM/NCR.

General Manager/NCR conducted weekly safety and punctuality meeting.

Today o­n 22.09.2021,a safety and punctuality review meeting was held at NCR headquarter. General Manager North Central Railway joined the meeting from Bilasapur through video link, while Additional General ManagerShriRanjan Yadav chaired the meeting at NCR headquarter. DRMs of Agra, Prayagraj and Jhansi along with divisional officers also joined through video conferencing.

While addressing the meeting General Manager raised strong concern over derailment of empty coaching rake in Kanpur Yard o­n 16th September, 2021. He further instructed that a drive to be launched immediately by deputing Traffic Inspectors and counseling should be done regarding precautions to be taken during shunting. He also gave strict instructions o­n the diversion of the rake in Kanpur yard. General Manager also raised concern over derailment in DFC route and said that lessons should be learnt from the derailment as any unusual over DFC line impacts Indian Railways.

While discussing about the grievance redressal mechanism for customers, General Manager instructed to expedite disposal o­n Rail Madad. He said complaints o­n Rail Madad must be dealt o­n priority and there must timelydisposal and there should not be any inordinate delay.

PCOM Shri Biplav Kumar raised the issue of frequent Brake block jam in Prayagraj Division, which adversely affects punctuality.

While reviewing the position of court cases, AGM expressed deep concern over pending arbitration cases. AGM also instructed to implement various court decisions. He instructed all PHODs to conclude those cases expeditiously where sole arbitrators are adjudicating. AGMinstructed that a proper analysis of these cases has to be done and exact reasons to be traced out for those.

Detailed discussions o­n other safety and punctuality related issues were also held during the meeting.
