Candidates put forth their suggestions before High-powered committee.
The High powered committee formed by the Railway Board to look into the concerns of candidates appearing in RRB’s Non-Technical Popular Category(NTPC) exam and RRC Level 1 recruitment exam visited Prayagraj today at the outreach camp to interact with the candidates and sought their suggestions on the recruitment methodology.
100 candidates appearing in various examinations of Railways attended the session at Coral Club and register their grievances before the committee.
Committee members gave a patient audience to the candidates and responded to their queries through one to one interactions. Many of the points raised by the candidates were noted down by the committee for further deliberations.
Among the various concerns registered by the candidates were related to the normalization process, shortlisting methodology for Computer based test-2 (CBT-2) and relaxation of medical standards.
Candidates also demanded for an annual selection calendar to be issued by RRB and suggested that strict timelines should be followed regarding completion of examination process.
Candidates undergoing Apprentice with NCR also attended the session and put forth their concerns.
The members of the committee which include: Chairman- Shri Deepak Peter Gabriel, Principal Executive Director/Railway Board; Members- Shri Rajiv Gandhi, Executive Director, RRB and Shri Aditya Kumar, CPO/Admin Western Railway later on moved to the Divisional Railway Manager office and hold discussions over the issue with DRM(in-charge) Shri S.K.Singh and other officers.
During the interactive session with the candidates Shri Sanjeev Dixit (ADRM/Prayagraj), Shri Avdhesh Kumar (CPO/NCR), Shri Ashish Sachan (Chairman RRC Allahabad) and Shri Rajesh Sharma (SrDPO/Prayagraj) were present. The session was moderated by Shri R.A. Jamali, Chairman RRB/Allahabad and Dr. Shivam Sharma, CPRO/NCR.
