Prayagraj, Jhansi and Agra divisions of NCR achieved more than 90% punctuality on 20th March, 2022

Best Punctuality Performance after normalization of coaching operations in post covid period
North Central Railway divisions are setting new standard in punctuality of coaching trains. NCR achieved overall 93.20% punctuality on 20th March, 2022. All three divisions Agra, Jhansi and Prayagraj have touched level of more than 90%. That include, Prayagraj Division-91.5%, Jhansi Division -97% & Agra Division -97%.
This is the best punctuality performance in year 2021-22, after normalization of coaching operations since 15/11/21. General Manager North Central Railway Shri Pramod kumar congratulated the entire team for this performance. He said we need to maintain these efforts and try to improve it further. He also announced group awards for all the three divisional and headquarter teams. He said adequate monitoring be ensured at all levels along with proper inter departmental coordination.
While speaking about this success Shri Biplav Kumar PCOM/ NCR informed that this feat could be achieved due to immaculate planning, intensive monitoring of punctuality through punctuality drive, no block bursting ie completing all maintenance works in a planned time frame, minimized asset failure due to best maintenance practice etc. He also motivated the teams for proper monitoring of train running.
