General Manager Conducts Annual Inspection of Track Machine CPOH Workshop and Concrete Sleeper Plant, Prayagraj
Shri Pramod Kumar, General Manager, North Central Railway conducted a comprehensive inspection of Track Machine Central Periodical Overhauling Workshop and Concrete Sleeper Plant, Prayagraj. During the inspection, the General Manager first inspected the track machine CPOH Workshop, during which a thorough overview of the technology related to CSM tamping unit, axle geometry, wheel trolley, store room etc. was done.
During this, General Manager analyzed the various activities carried out by the workshop and also interacted with the working staff and supervisors and also gave necessary instructions to the concerned officer for their working knowledge up-gradation. Shri Pramod Kumar expressed satisfaction over the work being done there. During the inspection, General Manager shared his experiences to motivate the employees and gave appropriate instructions to improve the quality and efficiency in the workshop. After the inspection, General Manager planted a sapling in the Workshop premises.
After this, the General Manager conducted an annual inspection of the Concrete Sleeper Plant. Activities like mold inspection, fixing of MCI insert, pre-stressing of HTS wire, concreting and steam curing were also inspected. General Manager said that the floor of the sleeper plant should be even and the corresponding pathway should be clear. He also inspected the lab of CSP. General Manager instructed to test and improve the knowledge of concrete sleeper plant employees and supervisors.
Principal Chief Electrical Engineer, Shri Satish Kothari, Principal Chief Personnel Officer Shri Avadhesh Kumar, Principal Chief Engineer Shri SK Mishra, Senior Deputy General Manager Shri. Naveen Kumar, Secretary to General Manager Shri Ajay Singh and other senior officers were present on this occasion.
