Drive to find and correct deficiencies in catering services at

Kanpur Central

Inspectors from all three divisions & Headquarter  deputed to monitor Passenger Amenities

TTEs have been deployed Shift wise on each Platform

Kanpur Central is the most important and busy station of North Central Railway with approx 200 coaching trains everyday and it has the largest daily footfall with around 75000 passengers. The facilities are being continuously upgraded and a close watch is regularly being kept over all the services being provided to all the esteemed customers.

In order to further strengthen the monitoring over passenger amenities including catering services, a 10 day drive has been launched from 18th to 27th June 2022.

Commercial inspectors, catering inspectors and Ticket checking staff are being deployed for monitoring on shiftwise basis at each platform. These staff will not only monitor the passenger amenities but also take care of catering services including the proper availability of drinking water at all platforms round the clock.

Catering inspectors from all over the zone ie from Mathura, Agra, Jhansi, Gwalior and Prayagraj and NCR headquarter have been deployed at the station in shifts of 8hrs each.

Apart from it CITs, TTE and Sr TEs are also being deployed at all the platforms for next 10 days. 02 TTEs  each will be deployed on every platform.

These checking staff will look after catering stalls and water arrangements in addition to their regular duties.

Railway administration requests all the passengers that don’t buy products from unauthorized vendors and always pay as per MRP or printed rate.
