Vigilance Awareness Seminar organised at NCR Headquarter
As a part of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week to commemorate birth anniversary of Shri Vallabh Bhai Patel, a Vigilance Awareness Seminar has been organised in Aravali Conference Hall, General Manager Office Premises, Prayagraj under the guidance of Shri D. K. Singh, SDGM. The theme of this year’s Vigilance Awareness Week is “भ्रष्टाचार का विरोध करें; राष्ट्र के प्रति समर्पित रहें” “Say no to corruption; commit to the Nation”. The Key Speaker o­n the occasion was Shri Ram Hit, Principal Accountant General (Audit). The program was presided over by Shri Satish Kumar, General Manager and attended by PHOD’s/CHOD’s of all the departments and other officers of NCR.
In his opening address Shri D. K. Singh, Senior Deputy General Manager (SDGM) said that during this week of Vigilance Awareness we have gone to all the divisions to make aware the officers and employees regarding ethics and morality. He had showed video issued by CVC regarding PIDPI complaints. 
Shri Satish Kumar, General Manager stressed that if the work are done later that are investigated by any agency there is no need to panic if these are done properly. He said that if we do the first sentence said by CVC i.e. “Say no to corruption” there is no need to do other sentence said by CVC i.e. “commit to the Nation”. He instructed to all the officers that there everything should be 100% OK in their inspection.
In his address Shri Ram Hit, Principal Accountant General (Audit), Key Speaker detailed regarding establishment of CVC. He expressed very proud to look after the charge of Director General Audit of N. C. Railway for more than 2 years. He also stressed upon the cleanliness of character as we clean our body. We should take oath of non corruption from inside not from outside. He expressed happiness over massive change done by Railway in infrastructure and facilities. 
PHODs from different departments also expressed their views regarding different issues related to ethics and clean working of Railway.
Vote of thanks was given by Shri Indra Jeet Katiyar, Chief Vigilance Officer.
Earlier a Nukkad Natak was also organised by Scouts and Guide team of NCR which was graced by General Manager and attended by All P/CHODs of NCR.
