Shri Sharat Sudhakar Chandrayan takes over the charge of PCOM/NCR


Shri Sharat Sudhakar Chandrayan, an officer of 1993 batch of Indian Railway Traffic Service has taken over the charge of Principal Chief Operations Manager of North Central Railway o­n date 14.02.2024. He took over the charge from outgoing PCOM Shri Shobhit Bhatnagar, who has been transferred to DFCCIL as Director 
(OP&BD).

Before coming to NCR Shri Sharat Chandrayan was working as CPTM/CR. After completing his Master Degree in Physics from Delhi University, Shri  Sharat Chandrayan joined the Indian Railways. He has worked in important key posts of Indian Railways viz., AOM, DOM, Dy.COM (Goods), Sr.DSO, Sr.DOM, Sr.DCM, CPRO in Western Railway, Chief Traffic Planning Manager/Central Railway, Divisional Rail Manager, Hyderabad/South Central Railway and Chief Passenger Transportation Manager/Central Railway. 

Apart from these posts held, he has also worked as Group General Manager/CONCOR and Director & CEO of CONCOR Air Limited.  He has interest in Reading, Photography and travelling.

Shri Sharat Chandrayan had training in Belgium, China, Singapore and Malaysia. He received National Award from Minister of Railways in 2007 and GM award twice.
