GM/NCR holds meeting with representatives of All India SC/ST Employee Association, NCR
Today on 05.02.2020 General Manager Shri Rajiv Chaudhry held an informal meeting with representatives of All India Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribes Association, North Central Railway. Apart from the formal forums, General Manager holds regular informal meeting with staff representing Unions and Association. While addressing the meeting General Manager said, this is my 2ndinformal meeting with your association but I want to say thatwe are working in a healthy environment with and we are getting constant positive support and contribution from your association. He also said that the credit of success goes to our employees, whose hardwork and commitment makes it possible. He informed that, all the suggestions and requests received from your association have been complied with.
Shri Chaudhry said, we have received a panel of 2102 Group-C technicians out of which 337 are SC and 159 are ST candidates. He also said, out of the notified 4762 level-1 posts the panel of 3501 candidates have been received which has 580-SC & 294-ST candidates. He said we have notified 973 posts of Junior Engineers out which 135 posts are of SC category and 73 are of ST categories. He also informed that during the year 2019-20 total 430 employees have been promoted which has SC/ST employees along with general categories.
While speaking on the occasion Shri Kishan Swarup, Zonal President of the Association thanked the General Manager for his support. Shri Lalsa Ram Zonal Secretary welcomed the new AGM. He also thanked the General manager and said it is due to his support that all our suggestions and requirements are fulfilled. The issues of crew link, adequate facility in association offices and space allotment for branch offices were also discussed in the meeting.
Shri Ranjan Yadav AGM/NCR suggested that a compendium of all the instructions and letters issued by railway board, pertaining to administrative issues of SC/ST category employees be compiled and sent to divisions and workshops for necessary compliance.
Shri Shri Prakash Principal Chief Personnel Officer, during his address said all the issues raised by the representatives of the associations will definitely be addressed as per the extant rules and guidelines.The meeting started with Zonal President and Zonal Secretary welcomed the Genreral Manager and New Additional General Manager Shri Ranjan Yadav by presenting the bouquets.
