North Central Railway sets new record of 100 % punctuality on 21.06.20
Monitoring Station to station punctuality helped NCR’s divisions to touch highest punctuality level in June-2020
With Safety first approach North Central Railway working on mission 50 kmph average speed of goods trains
North Central Railway sets a new record in punctuality on 21.06.20 by running all 99 trains as per schedule time over its territory.In this best ever achievement Prayagraj , Jhansi and Agra divisions contributed with highest punctuality of 100% through on time running of 69 , 26 and 34 trains over respective division.
Under the leadership of General Manager North Central & Northern Railway Sri Rajiv Chaudhry, divisions of NCR have also started monitoring station to station punctuality of trains besides maintaining punctuality across divisional and zonal boundaries under the conventional system. This has been one of the most important contributor in this rare achievement duly supported with exceptional operating discipline and impeccable maintenance of assets.
In June ,2020 , 100% punctuality performance was achieved by all three divisions on many occasions with Agra division achieving it on05 days i.e. 1st , 3rd, 5th , 12th and 21st , Praygraj division on 10th and 21st and Jhansi division on 13th and 21st of this month . 100% Punctuality performance of 21.06.20 is particularly significant as individual efforts of divisions could be synergized and North Central Railway could achieve this rarest of rare feat. North Central Railway is maintaining excellent overall punctuality of 92.73 % in June, 2020.
With Safety first approach North Central Railway is also striving to achieve 50 kmph average speed for goods trains on regular basis.
