Vigilance Awareness program organised by Vigilance department NCR
As a part of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week to commemorate birth anniversary of late Shri Vallabh Bhai Patel, a Vigilance Awareness program has been organised in Railway Officer’s Club (Spandan), Prayagraj under the guidance of Shri Naveen Kumar, SDGM. The theme of this year’s Vigilance Awareness Week “Corruption free India for a Developed Nation”. The program was presided over by Shri Pramod Kumar, General Manager and attended by Principal Heads of departments and other officers and employees.
In his opening address Shri Naveen Kumar, Senior Deputy General Manager (SDGM) said that corruption is the biggest impediment in development of any country. Therefore, fighting corruption is essential for making India a developed Nation. He elaborated the three ways i.e. Preventive, Punitive and Participative measures employed by Vigilance Branch to combat corruption.
