MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 

Jhansi Division consist of Divisional Railway Hospital & 09 Health Units (Workshop JHS, RLN/JHS, GWL, RSK/STLI, ORAI, JUI, MBA, LAR & BNDA) which provides medical services to about 91925 Railway population (Including 22821 employees & 11731 RELHS card holders).

This hospital was commissioned in the year 1961 as 100 bedded which was upgraded to 205 beds in the year 1997.

Medical Facilities at DRH/JHS -

ØFull fledged 04 Bedded Casualty Wing runs 24 Hrs.

ØICU 08 bedded ( 06 beds for cardiac care & 02 beds for post operative care)

Ø07 cabins (02 for officers & 05 for staff)

ØFull fledged pathology doing all type of investigations & outsourcing of few

investigations is done.

ØDigital Department (X-Ray) available in round the clock.

ØFour full fledged Operation Theatre ( 02- Major OT & 02-Minor OT)  and performing surgeries  of Ortho, Eye, General surgeries, Gynae & Obst., ENT.

ØFull fledged Physiotherapy unit.

ØDental Doctor is also available.

It provides OPD services of general & specialty wise. Ayurveda OPD is also available at DRH/JHS which is run by Staff benefit fund.

PLAN FOR IMPROVEMENT

-Computer and accessories were purchased through GeM for the implementation of HMIS for UMID card holders at DRH/JHS and Health Units.

-Computerized OPD registration for employees started at DRH/JHS, OPD papers are being prepared for UMID card holders also.

-Electronic Lift System is under process and may be done at earliest.

-Computer generated pathology report for employees, beneficiaries and RELHS card holders started at DRH/JHS

-Few CCTV & WiFi are provided in DRH JHS.  File has sent to HQ/NCR for finalization.

-ICU Monitoring Unit with Central Nursing system (Multi Parameter, patient monitor) (06 Nos).

-Four computers were received & 01 PC received under Divisional Power.

-One Private Ambulance is being used in emergency in addition to one Govt Ambulance at DRH/JHS

-Bio-Medical Waste disposal is being done as per norms, contract done for next 3 years.

-Separate Medicine dispensing window for RELHS beneficiaries started

IMPORTANT WORK AND THEIR STATUS

-Annual wellness assurance check-up 1st camp for officers (SPARROW/APAR) – 46 checked on 01.02.2020 and next camp to be held on 29.02.20

-Health checkup camp is being done as per guidelines and efforts are being made to complete 100%. (14131 employees and RPF staff attended on 1st round 502 &                 2ndround 282)

-Health Unit, Gwalior – CR system under process. Sr.DMM has been asked to expedite.

-Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, pulse polio & other national programmes are organized.

-Good control over Mandays lost in RMC & IOD compared to last year.

-Project SAKSHAM  and Ayushman Bharat Yojna is implemented.

-All equipments to be made available in all Health Units, Jhansi Division  as per the standards

-Road Mobile Van- Road Mobile Van is started at Gwalior. Medical services are being provided in the far flung areas to Railway beneficiaries by sending the medical staff to those who are unable to reach to health unit.

-The staff is trained as per railway schedule and HQ guidelines

INNOVATIONS & SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT

ØSanitation JPU- Proposal has been processed for creation for 29 posts of Health Inspectors in reference to sanitation JPU.
