परिचालन
परिचय
भारतीय रेल पर झांसी मण्डल एक शेष स्थान रखता है तथा विस्तार की दृष्टि से उत्तर मध्य रेलवे का सबसे बड़ा मंडल है । इस मंडल पर उल्लेखनीय यात्री यातायात जैसे शताब्दी , गतिमान एवं विभिन्न राजधानी गाड़ियों का संचालन करने के साथ साथ महत्वपूर्ण माल का लदान भी किया जाता है ।
इसके अलावा सामाजिक एवं राजीनीतिक रूप से सक्रिय होने के साथ-साथ झांसी मंडल पर्यटन और तीर्थ की दृष्टि से भी बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है । अत: इस मंडल पर रेल संचालन पर लगातार निगरानी रखना जरूरी है ।
दिनांक 01.03.2022 के अनुसार इस मण्डल मे औसतन 161.14 जोड़ी मेल/एक्सप्रेस एवम पैसिंजर गाड़ियां विभिन्न दिशाओं के लिये प्रतिदिन संचालित होती हैं तथा औसत माल यातायात 173 माल गाड़ियों का संचालन भी किया जा रहा है |

2.गाड़ी परिचालन का प्रोफाइल
झांसी मंडल पर एक बड़ी डबल लाइन का ‘ए’ रूट है बीना /पश्चिम मध्य रेलवे (को छोड़कर) से धौलपुर (को छोड़कर) तक है जिसे दो
सेक्शनों में बांटा गया है- बीना-झांसी तथा झांसी धौलपुर । इसके साथ 07 ब्रांच लाईनें हैं जो कि इस प्रकार हैं - झांसी-कानपुर, झांसी-मानिकपुर, महोबा-खजुराहो, बांदा-कानपुर, ग्वालियर- उडीमोड़, ललितपुर-खजुराहो एवं एट-कोंच । उक्त बी.जी.सेक्शन के अलावा एन.जी. अर्थात ग्वालियर-सबलगढ़- श्योपुर की 01 ब्रांच लाईन का नैरोगेज सेक्शन है जो कि आमान परिवर्तन हेतु रेल्वे बोर्ड के पत्रांक 2016/W-II/NCR/GC/02 Pt, दिनांक 23.08.2021 से यात्री यातायात के लिये पूर्णतया बंद कर दिया गया है ।

झांसी मण्डल के महत्वपूर्ण यार्ड
झांसी
झांसीजंक्शन सेउत्तरतथा दक्षिणभारतकेबीचहोनेवालायातायातबड़ीसंख्यामेंगुजरताहै,इसलिएझांसीजंक्शन परिचालन की दृष्टि से काफीमहत्वपूर्णहै।उपरोक्त व्यस्त यातायात को सुगमता से गुजारने के लिये वर्तमानमेंझांसी स्टेशन पर पांच प्लेटफार्म उपलब्ध हैं इसके अतिरिक्त दो बे-प्लेटफार्म यात्री गाड़ियों को प्रारम्भ करने के लिये भी उपलब्ध हैं |
माल यातायात के दृष्टि से भी झांसी जंक्शन अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण स्टेशन है |झांसीयार्ड से वर्कशॉप को जाने वाली POH वैगनों के तथा यात्री
कोचो का संचालन तथा मिलिट्री स्पेशल गाड़ियों का नियमित लदान तथा थ्रू जानेवाली माल गाड़ियों के संचालन के साथ साथ कुछ माल गाड़ियों में इंजन इत्यादि को बदलने का कार्य भी किया जाता है |
माल डिब्बों के परीक्षण के लिये एक कैरिज एवं वैगन परीक्षण डिपो भी है जहां प्रतिदिन 1-2 माल गाड़ियों का परीक्षण किया जाता है |
झांसी स्टेशन में एक महत्वपूर्ण पैसेंजर डिपो भी है जहां 06 यात्री गाड़ियों का परीक्षण भी किया जाता है |
झांसी यार्ड में माल गाड़्यों के प्रबंधन के लिये 3 बाई पास लाइनें ,4 R&D लाइनें ,2 डाउन डिपार्चर लाइनें तथा 11 मार्शलिंग लाइनें भी
उपलब्ध हैं |बाई पास तथा 02R&D लाइनों के अतिरिक्त अन्य सभी लाइनों की लम्बाई निर्धारित लम्बाई से कम हैं |
ग्वालियर
कोचिंग यातायात के संचालन को ध्यान में रखते हुए ग्वालियर भी एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण स्टेशन है। वर्तमान में ग्वालियर स्टेशन से 07
यात्री ट्रेने एवम 03 जोडी पैसेंजर ट्रेने कुल 10 यात्री गाडियो के संचालन के लिये 04 प्लेटफॉर्म हैं
ग्वालियर में एक मध्यवर्ती यार्ड भी है तथा ग्वालियर स्थित मालगोदाम को कुछ समय पूर्व रायरू स्टेशन पर स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया
है, अब ग्वालियर ब्रोड गेज की ट्रेनों के लिए एक प्रमुख कोचिंग अनुरक्षण यार्ड और डिपो है।
