“A” ROUTE
Bina(excl)-Dholpur (excl):-
This section has 37 stations,27 IBH ,24 Traffic interlocked LC gates& 20Engg. Interlocked LC
Gates .
Interlocking–All stations are Std.III except Jhansi RRIwhich is interlocked withStd I.
Signaling:-29 stations are provided with Panel interlocking (Siemens make), 02 station are provided with RRI&6 Station areprovided with Electronic interlocking(KHJ,BJI,BAB,CIRL,RRU,SIKD). GWL Goods & JHS EI-1 is in addition to these 6 EI’s.Jhansi RRI is consist of 412 Routes& that of Gwalior RRI 326 Routes.
Block Working:-JHS-BINAsection is provided with UFSBI (19 block sections) with Dual detection for BPAC.JHS–DHO section is provided with SGE block Instruments (18 Block section)with Block Proving by Axle Counter( . Gwalior-Birlanagar sectionis continuously track circuited).
IBS:-Intermediate block signaling(IBH) has been provided in 27 block sections.

“D” ROUTE
1- Khairar(Ex)–Bhimsen(Excl)
This section has 09stations ,11Traffic interlocked LC gates&04Engg. Interlocked LC Gates.
Signaling:-KID-BZMsection is provided with MACLS signaling. 03 station are provided with EI(Ghatampur,Patara,Katara Road,), 04 Stations are provided with PI Std-II R (namely Yamunasouthbank, Ragaul, Akona, Hamirpur). 02 stations are provided with MACLS Std-II with end cabins(Bharuasumerpur, &Ichauli)
Block Working:-Absolute block working with DiadoTokenless Block Instrument (ICL-AKW-RGU-BSZ-JSB-HAR)with Dual Detection &UFSBI Block Panel (KID-ICL,HAR-GTM-PTRE-KTRR-BZM) are provided with dual detection.
2- Jhansi – Khairar (excl)
This section has 13 stations ,12Traffic interlocked LC gates& 05 Engg. Interlocked LC Gates.
Signaling:-7 stations are provided with panel interlocking (Mahoba, Kabrai, Mataundh, Orcha, Baruasagar, Niwari&Teharka)and 6 stations are provided with Electronic interlocking (Belatal,Kulpahar, Mauranipur, Rora, Harpalpur, Ranipur Road). All stations in this section are provided with dual detection in yard.
Block Working:-Absolute block working is on block panel with UFSBI/SSBPAC in 9 block sections Remaining 05 sections(JHS-TKA & KBR-MTH) are provided with DIADO block instruments. BPAC in all sections provided with dual detection.
3-Mahoba(Ex) – Khajuraho:
This section has 02stations ,01 Traffic interlocked LC gates& No Engg. Interlocked LC Gates
Signaling :-02 Stations are provided with Panel interlocking at Khajuraho&Singhpurdumra withStd.II Interlocking .
Block Working:- Absolute block working with block panel UFSBI with BPAC dual detection.
“D” Spl ROUTE
1-Jhansi(Ex) – Kanpur
This section has 22stations ,22 Traffic interlocked LC gates&19Engg. Interlocked LC Gates.
Interlocking:-All stations are provided with Std -III.
Signaling:-06 stations are provided with panel interlocking 16 Station are provided with Electronic interlocking.
Block Working:-Absolute block working with DiadoTokenless Block Instrument in 07 section & Universal fail safe block interface (UFSBI) working in 14 sections.
2-Khairar – Manikpur (excl):
This section has 12 stations ,08 Traffic interlocked LC gates&NoEngg. Interlocked LC Gates
Signaling :-05 stations are provided with panel interlocking (Chitrakut, Shivrampur, Badausa, Dingwai&Khoh) with Std-II-R. and 07 stations having EI (Atarra, Khairar, Khurand, Banda,Bharatkup, Bahilpurva,Ohan Station with Std- IIIR. Out of 7 EI 03 stations are provided with dual detection in yard (Bharatkup, Bahilpurva and Ohan).
Block Working:- Complete section provided with Block panel with UFSBI/SSPBAC with BPAC. All the BPAC in the section provided with dual detection.
“E” ROUTE-
1-Lalitpur(Ex)- Khajuraho(excl);
This section has 08stations ,No Traffic interlocked LC gates& No Engg. Interlocked LC Gates
Signaling :-Total 08 stations are provided with panel interlocking with Std – II R (BRRI-DUYG)
Block Working:-04 block-section (Lalitpur-Birari,Birari-UdaypuraUdaipura,-Tikamgarh, Tikamgarh –Sarkanpur) provided UFSBI with HASSDAC. 05 nos block section from Sarkanpur to Khajurahoare provided with Diado block instrument with BPAC( With dual detection).
2-Birlanagar–Bhind
This section has 05stations ,03 Traffic interlocked LC gates& No Engg. Interlocked LC Gates
SIgnalling:- Thissection is equipped with MACLS Five station Malanpur(MLAR),Sanichara(SAC),BHIND(BIX),Gohad(GOA), SONI EI with standard IIIR(With block working of UFSBI & Dual detection in(SAC-MLAR-GOA-SONI,BLNR-SAC-MLNR,SONI-BIX-UDI).
3-AIT- Konchsection- Konchstation is provided with PI (MACLS).One train only system.
“NG” ROUTE
1-Gwalior NG sectionsLQ two aspect signalling. All stations are NI.

2.2 VHF Sets: All Block stations on the division including branch lines, narrow gauge and ‘E’ route have been provided with high power 25 W VHF sets. 5W VHF sets Total 942nos( Make -Motorola GP-328- 35 nos, HYT 700- 115 nos, HYT 270- 06 nos& Sanchar STC 700 – 786 nos.) are distributed among Drivers, Guards.
5W VHF setsTotal 1010nos(Make – Motorola GP 328- 41 nos., HYT 700-136nos.,HYT 270- 11 nos, & Sanchar STC 700-822 nos.)VHFare distributed to various departments.
2.3OFC- OFCExists on all routes of JHS division except NG which will be provided with gauge conversion . Long haul circuits & connectivity of variousexchanges on the route has been done on OFC. all of the UTS/PRS & FOIS have been also transferred on OFC.
2.4 RAILNET-There are 963 nodes of Railnet connected on LAN &439 nodes are provided at different locations of division on DSLAM.
2.5FOIS– There are total 68 nodes available in JHS division 47 at JHS & 1 each at Morena, Diamond cement, Paricha thermal power plant, Banda, Gwalior, Rayaru, Datia, Karari, Lalitpur, Orai, Mahoba,Khajurao,Malanpur, Kabrai, Bhimsen, Jhansi W/Bridge, Dabra, Harpalpur, RPGU(HPTR), UDPR(LPGU) and Niwari.
2.6BSNL Telephones– BSNL phoneshave beenprovided at 44 stations out of 121.
2.7CUG Connections - Total 5762 CUG connections are provided to various departments on the division.
2.8MTRC-MTRC systemis provided on Dholpur-Jhansi section consisting of 17 BTS stations. Total 321/321 Sets/SIMs are distributed to passenger trains LP &Guard .

Achievement during 2020-21 in Jhansi Division
SIGNALLING: - New Work
1.Ten Stations commissioned with Electronic interlocking over thedivision (Rora,Ranipur, Mauranipur, Bijauli, Khajraha and Malanpur,Sanichara,ORAI,BHIND,Ghatampur,)
2.Ranipur,MalanpurSanichara,Bhindstations converted fromstd. I to Std. III R.
3.07Electro Mechanical STN replaced with EI for centralized operation.
4.10Token BlockInstrument replaced with block panel(UFSBI).
5.Interlocking provided on LC-430 and LC-445.
6.Major alteration work has been carried out in existing Jhansi EI in connection with 3rd Line work complete done.
TELECOM:-
1.OFC Cable–113 Kms OFC cable laid & commissioned over division (BLNR- ETW).
2.Wi – Fi – Total 102 Nos. stations provided with Wi- Fi facility over Jhansi division out of which 11 station commissioned during the year.
3.Total 94manual PA system provided over Jhansi division out of which 39 stations commissioned during the year.
4.CCTV- Total 02 Nos station provided under Nirbhaya Fund& 32 no’s CCTV camera provided in Rly Hospital during the year.
5.On 06 stations IPIS integrated with NTES.
6.Total 15no’s V- SAT surrendered after transferring UTS/FOIS channels on Railway OFC.
7.Secure Communication provided on LC 370, LC371with recording facility.
8.GPS Clock provided at GWL Lobby, RRI GWL, RRI JHS &Dy SS -MRA, GWL, DAA.
Reliability improve during 2020-21
1.IBS circuits on 13 section transferred on dual media after laying and commissioning of signaling OFC total -118.12 KM.
2.Dual detection for BPAC provided in 30-block sectionfor better reliability.
3.Sliding Boom commissioned on 14 Nos. at various Interlocked Gates.
4.Data logger networking done on 12 stations (08 on OFC channel& 4no’s on Quad cable).
5.Interface circuit UsingWebfilMux commissionedon 14no’s of IBH in Jhansi-Bina section.
6.Track Feed Charger Failure Alarm System provided at SAC, MLAR, BJI, KHJ, ORAI, BIX.
Achievement during 2021-22 in Jhansi Division
SIGNALLING:- New Work
1.Eight Stations commissioned with Electronic interlocking over the division {(BABINA-28.06.21,PTRE-30.07.21,GOA-31.07.21,SONI-12.09.21,KTRR-12.09.21,CNH,PHN,MLS-28.09.21))}.
2.04 Electro Mechanical STN (PTRE,GOA,SONI,KTRR) replaced with EI for centralized operation.
3.GOA& SONI stationconverted fromstd. I to Std. III R.
4.At all LC Gate Provided Sliding boom in JHS DIV.
5.01Neal’s Ball Token Block Instrument replaced with block panel (UFSBI-webfil).
6.Interlocking of 3 nos of non interlocked Gate.(G-199,204,212)
TELECOM:- New Work
1.Wi – Fi – Total 102 Nos. stations provided with Wi- Fi facility over Jhansi division out of which 2 station commissioned during the year.
2.CCTV installed at ORAI, DRM Office JHS.
Reliability improvement during 2020-21
1.Dual detection for block section(GWL-STLI,STLI-SLV,KTRR-PTRE,GOA-SONI,) provided in 4-block section for better reliability.
2.GWL-STLI IB Mux make deltron interface commissioned on date 29.06.21.
3.BWR-NEW & NEW-TKA UFSBI B/I Commissioned in the replacement of Diado B/I.
4.Sliding boom commissioned at LC-33 (GOA) & PTRE (LC S-69,S-70)
