Signal & Telecommunication Updated on 03.01.2011 SIGNALLING ON DIVISION. “A” ROUTE 1.1 Bina-Agra Cantt vInterlocking – All the stations on the route are interlocked to Std. III except Jhansi which is interlocked to Std I. vType of signalling – ·All stations are provided with Panel interlocking except DLA. A small panel is provided at Jhansi for controlling the operations in platform area. SIKD is provided with Solid State interlocking . Work of RRI at JHS is in progress. ·Gwalior is provided with Route Relay interlocking. ·The entire route is having double distant signalling. vData loggers have been provided at all PI stations, RRI station & are networked with JHS Test Room. vSpecial features – oIn the entire JHS - BINA section, Axle Counter Block have been provided (19 block sections). o16 block sections on AGC-JHS section have been provided with digital BPAC along with SGE block instruments (9 MSDAC+5CEL SSDAC+ 2 Mixed ).BPAC is to be provided in 5 balance block sections (4CEL SSDACs+1 MSDAC).GWL-BLNR is track circuited. oIBS has been provided in 31 block sections: BIN-AGD, AGD-KOA, MXS-DUA, DUA-JLN, JLN-JRO,JRO-LAR, LAR-DWA, DWA-JHA, JHA-BJA, MZX-BZY, BZY-BPW, BAB-KHJ, KHJ-BJI, BJI-JHS, JHS-KRQ, KRQ-DAA, DAA-SOR, SOR-KTRA, KTRA-DBA, DBA-AEH, AEH-ARI, SLV-STLI, STLI-GWL, BLNR-RRU, BAO-SQ, SQ-MRA,HET-DHO, DHO-MIA,MIA-JJ,JJ -BHA, BHA -AGC sections. “B” ROUTE 1.2 Manikpur -- Naini vInterlocking – All the stations on the route are interlocked to Std. III. (No. of Stations – 12) vType of signalling – PI at PNHI, DBR, KTDD, SSI at IDGJ, LKJN, JSR, MFX, LOG, SRJ, MJHR , BRG, and LQ at MKP “D” ROUTE-- 1.3 Jhansi – Kanpur vPI commissioned at 16 stations, MACLS at 02 station (PRN & NDK) and at BHUA, there is 2 Aspect LQ semaphore signaling with lever frame. Work is in progress for MACLS at BHUA. vStd -III Interlocking at all the stations. vAbsolute block working with Diodo Tokenless Block Instrument at all stations except AIT-OR. where Neals Ball Token exist. 1.4 Banda – Bhimsen section is provided with LQ two aspect signalling Std-III (5 Stations) & MNI signalling (4 Stations). Work for converting 4 MNI stations to PI and 5 stations to MACLS with existing lever frame is sanctioned. 1.5 Jhansi – KID (excl) section is provided with LQ two aspect signalling (13 Stations) with MNI signaling. PI is sanctioned at MBA, KBR and MTH. 1.6 Mahoba (excl) – Khajuraho:- panel interlocking has been commissioned on 02 stations viz. Khajuraho & Singhpurdumra with Neale’s ball token block instrument. 1.7 Khairar - Manikpur section is provided with LQ two aspect signaling Std–III (13 Stations). “E” ROUTE- 1.8 Gwalior–Bhind section is equipped with MACLS Std-I stations (5 stations). 1.9 Gwalior NG and Dholpur NG sections are provided with LQ two aspect signalling. 2 TELECOMMUNICATIONS – 2.1Control circuits on the division are as under: Bina-Jhansi-Agra | Railway owned RE cable and OFC. | Jhansi-Kanpur | Railway owned overhead alignment. (Block working on six quad cable in JHS-ERC, ATA-JUHI sections. 2.2 VHF Sets : All Block stations on the division including branch lines, narrow gauge and ‘E’ route have been provided with high power 25 w VHF sets to avoid problems of total communication failures due to interruptions in the overhead alignment and to meet the requirement of emergency communication.5W VHF sets – 634 nos for train working, 147-Mech, 160-Eng ,65- Elect,151-S&T, 88 Optg. 2-Medical & 96-ARTs (Total 1343 nos) 2.3 Exchanges - All the Exchanges on Jhansi Division are modern Electronic Exchanges with Trunk Board at Jhansi. The exchanges are Jhansi East Exchange, Jhansi West Exchange, Gwalior, Babina, Lalitpur, Orai, Juhi, Banda, Manikpur, Sithouli (Workshop), Dholpur Exchanges & Morena. 2.4 OFC- exists on AGC - BIN & MKP-NYN section of the division.
