Supervisors Training Centre, Jhansi.


Jhansi is the proud of Indian History which is known for the Patriotism & Bravery of Rani LaxmiBai who fought First Indian Independence war, only due to her Name Jhansi has a significant place is World Map. Construction of Jhansi – Bhopal line was entrusted to Indian Midland Railways in 1885.Jhansi Railway station was opened on 1.1.1889.

ØA State Government Technical Institute was opened in 1919.

ØState GovernmentTechnical Institute was taken over by Railways in 1958.

ØThe Institute was renamed as System Technical School in 1961.

ØAs per Railway Board Directive this was renamed as Supervisor’s Training Centre in 1992.
