*    Reasons for drop in Publicity earnings and Action Plan

1. Policy of tendering of Publicity contract was transferred to RITES in 2016 so division has not initiated any tender. Later, railway board has decided to perform this work by division now, It is pertinent to mention that due to this reason division’s old publicity contract have been expired and no new tender can be floated.

2. Publicity contract of Jhansi Zone C and Morena was expired in the month of May 2018, to accelerate earning following action plan has been framed:

1. One e-tender of DDIS was received on 28.02.2019 is under process. Expected earning may be Rs 10 Lac. per year.

2. e-tender for Vinyl wrapping of exterior and interior have to open on 05.03.2019.

3. OOH (out of home) e-tender for JHS zone ‘A’, ‘B’ & ‘C’ have to open on 11.03.2019.

4. Recovery of license fee Rs 22.91 lack from Zone A, Zone B and Morena under process.

Remarkable  Work Done by Commercial Department Jhansi Division

1.         Inaugural function of extension of 12049/50 Gatiman exp. Upto Jhansi station has been held on 01.04.2018. Wherein Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Sushri Uma Bharti flagged of the first in India semi high speed train.

2          On 01/04/2018 newly installed escalators at platform no. 2 & 3 has also been inaugurated by Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Sushri Uma Bharti.

3          “Samvad” program was organized by Sr. DCM/JHS at Jhansi Railway Station in which “Safaiwalas” were motivated to do the best of their ability. They were also advised to make passenger aware of the importance of cleanliness and motivates them to keep the station clean one best Safaiwala Shri Devi Singh S/o Shri Munna was recognized to be awarded for his contribution towards cleanliness.

4          On date 01.06.2018 Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurated the stoppage of 12721 Dakshin express at Dabra station.

5          DRUCC Meeting has been organized on 05/07/2018. Members of DRUCC were welcomed by DRM. Developments recently taken place and other achievements of the Division were shared with the members through Power point presentation. Suggestions given by the members have been noted for taking appropriate action.

6          Rail Shakti Scheme of State Bank Of India (Cash Pickup from Station Office) started on 16.07.2018 of 109 Station (including three Non Rail PRS and  excluding Halt Station) out of 119 Station of Jhansi Division. Remaining Station will be start after get necessary vetting from Accounts.

7          2nd MP’s meeting of 2018 was held successfully on 07/092018 in Natraj Sarovar Portico Hotel at Jhansi chaired by General Manager North Central Railway Allahabad. In this meeting 06 Hon’ble MP’s participated & 05 representatives had attended the meeting. The valuable suggestions were given by Hon’ble MP’s during the meeting for which they were assured to take appropriate action on these suggestions.

8          On 03/10/2018 train no. 12547/48 AF-ADI exp. was extended between GWL-AGC on every Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday with new train no. 22547/48.

           

9          New train no 19663/64 introduced between KURJ-INDB on 16.02.2019.

1.  Main outward parcel commodity from above station is perishable, due to inconvenient to produce bill in connection with GST, customers attraction is going down ward towards rail traffic.

2.   It is noticed that only one SLR found available in concerned passengers trains between JHS-MBA section so due to space problem out ward  traffic trends toward downfall.

3.    Road traffic improvement and availability of loading vehicle of every quantity in this section
