Interlocking – Std. III except Jhansi which is interlocked to Std I.
Signaling:-All stations are provided with Panel interlocking (Siemens make) except Sikroda(Ansaldo), Chirula(Kyoson),Gwalior Goods Cabin(Kyoson), Jhansi A/B (Kyoson) which are provided with Electronic interlocking. Jhansi(412 Route) & Gwalior (326 Route) are Route Relay Interlocking.
Block Working:-JHS-Bina section having UFSBI (19 block sections) with Dual detection.
Dholpur-Jhansi section are provided with Block proving by axle counter along with SGE block instruments (10 MSDAC+8 SSDAC & Gwalior-Birlanagar section is continuously track circuited).
Intermediate block signalling (IBH) has been provided in27 block sections.
AGD-MAKR Intermediate block signalling (IBH) has been commissioned on 03.08.2019.

“D” ROUTE
1-Jhansi – Kanpur
Interlocking:-Std -III.
Signaling:- PI at 11 stations, EI at 10 Station namely Mustara, Garhmau, Paricha, Parauna,Ait, BHUA, Rasulpur Gogamau,Nandkhas,Chirgaon & Usargaon(USR)New Station between ATA-KPI (Westrace Make).
Block Working:- Absolute block working with Diado Tokenless Block Instrument in 12 section & Universal fail safe block interface working in 09 sections (Jhansi-Mustara, Mustara-Garhmau, Garhmau-Paricha, Paricha-Chirgaon-Nandkhas, Parauna-Ait,Ait-Bhua,Rasulpur Gogamau-Paman, Rasulpur Gogamau-Bhimsen).
2-Khairar –Bhimsen(excl)
Signaling:- section is provided with MACLS signaling. PI Std-II R at 04 Stations namely Yamunasouthbank, Ragaul, Akona, Hamirpur MACLS Std-III with end cabin (05 Stations) stations Bharuasumerpur, Katara Road, Patara Road, Ghatampur, & Ichauli
Block Working:- Absolute block working with Diado Tokenless Block Instrument except Khairar-Ichouli section working with Block panel with UFSBI.
3- Jhansi – Khairar (excl)
Signaling:- section is provided with MACLS signalling with MNI at 3 stations (Mauranipur, Rora, Harpalpur). PI at 7 stations namely Mahoba, Kabrai, Mataundh, Orcha, Baruasagar, Niwari & Teharka. MACLS Signaling with STD-I R at Ranipur Road, EI at 2 stations namely Belatal & Kulpahar .
Block Working:- Absolute block working.Block panel with UFSBI in Mahoba-Kabrai,Mataundh- Khairar , SSBPAC in HPP-BTX,BTX-KLAR,KLAR-MBA Section.
4-Mahoba – Khajuraho:
Signaling :- Panel interlocking at 02 Stations Khajuraho & Singhpurdumra with Std.III Interlocking .
Block Working:- Absolute block working with Neale’s Block.
5-Khairar – Manikpur (excl):
Signaling :- PI at 05 stations namely Chitrakut, Shivrampur, Badausa, Dingwai, Khoh with Std-II-R. and 07 station with EI at Atarra, Khairar, Khurand, Banda, Bharatkup, Bahilpurva,Ohan Station with Std- IIIR.
Block Working:- complete section provided with tokenless block instrument and Block panel with UFSBI in Atarra-Badausa ,Atarra-Khurand,,Khairar-Banda & BNDA-DWI with SSBPAC .
6-Lalitpur- Khajuraho(excl);
Signaling :- MACLS Std –II R, PI on 08 stations namely Birari, Udaipura,Tikamgarh, Sarkanpur, Khargapur, Isanagar, Chhatarpur, Duriaganj.
Block Working:- 04 block-section (Lalitpur-Birari,Birari-UdaypuraUdaipura,-Tikamgarh, Tikamgarh –Sarkanpur) provided UFSBI with HASSDAC. In Sarkanpur to Khajuraho 05 nos block sectionare provided with Diado tokenless block instrument with BPAC.
“E” ROUTE-
1-Birlanagar–Bhind sectionis equipped with MACLS Std-I stations (5 stations).
2-Gwalior NG and Dholpur NG sections LQ two aspect signalling. All stations are NI.
3-AIT- Konchsection- Konch station is provided with PI (MACLS).One train only system.

2.2 VHF Sets: All Block stations on the division including branch lines, narrow gauge and ‘E’ route have been provided with high power 25 W VHF sets. Total 962nos( Make -Motorola GP-328- 37 nos, HYT 700- 319 nos, HYT 270- 49 nos & Sanchar STC 700 – 557 nos.) VHF 5W sets are distributed among Drivers, Guards & other 1018 nos.(Make – Motorola GP 328- 81 nos., HYT 700-166 nos,HYT 270- 11 nos, Vertex VX 160- 70 nos, Kenwood -10 nos & Sanchar STC 700-680 nos.) VHF sets are distributed to various departments.

2.4 OFC- Exists on Dholpur – Bina , Jhansi-Kanpur ,JHS-KID-BZM , MBA – KURJ and LAR - KURJsections of the division. Long haul circuits & connectivity of various exchanges on the route has been done on OFC. Wherever possible PRS & FOIS have been also transferred on OFC. OFC Works on Banda-Manikpur are sanctioned and being executed by RCIL.
2.5 RAILNET- There are 710 nodes of Railnet connected on LAN &.332 nodes are provided at different locations of division on DSLAM.
2.6 FOIS points available at Jhansi (47nodes) & 1 each at Morena, Diamond cement power plant, Paricha thermal power plant, Banda, Gwalior, Rayaru, Datia, Karari, Lalitpur, Orai, Mahoba, Malanpur, Kabrai, Bhimsen, Jhansi W/Bridg, Dabra, Harpalpur and Niwari.
2.7BSNL Telephones have been provided at 129 stations out of 131.
2.8CUG Connections - Total 5774 CUG connections are provided to various departments on the division.
2.9MTRC is provided on Dholpur-Jhansi section consisting of 19 BTS stations. Total 236/236 Sets/SIMs are distributed among various subscribers.

Achievement during 2019-20
SIGNALLING:- New Work
1.10 Electronic interlocking commissioned over the division out of which 06 stations commissioned by open line .
2.Two stations (i.e.KLAR, BTX) converted from std. I to Std. III R.
3.09 mechanical cabin replaced with EI centralized operation.
4.07 Block section converted from Token to Token less.
5.14 Nos.NT Block replaced with 06 Nos. UFSBI & 08 Nos. SSBPAC Block panel.
6. 09 Nos. L.C. Gates interlocked - (05 Nos. Engg. Gates-432,435,369, 449, 409 & 04 Nos Traffic Gates -408, 414, 386, 395).
7. AGD– MAKR IBS commissioned in UP direction.
8.03 Nos LC Gates closed i.e. 364, 363, 384 in BINA – DHO section.
TELECOM:-
1.OFC Cable–113.25 Kms OFC cable laid & commissioned over division. (MBA – MKP 43.25 Km, MBA – KURJ 65 Km, LAR – KURJ 5 Km).
2.Wi – Fi – Total 60 Nos. stations provided with Wi- Fi facility.
3. Mannual PA system provided at 15 station .

2. 30 Nos. Sliding Boom commissioned at various Gates.
