परिचालन विभाग

1.परिचय

झांसी मंडल विस्‍तार की दृष्टि से उत्‍तर मध्‍य रेलवे का सबसे बड़ा मंडल है । इस मंडल से उत्‍तर मध्‍य रेलवे में सर्वाधिक यात्री एवं माल यातायात होता है । इसके अलावा समाजिक एवं राजीनीतिक रूप से सक्रिय होने के साथ-साथ झांसी मंडल पर्यटन और तीर्थ की दृष्टि से भी बहुत महत्‍वपूर्ण है । भारतीय रेलवे पर गाड़ी संचालन के संदर्भ में यह मंडल रीड़ की हड्डी की तरह काम करता है । अत: इस मंडल पर रेल संचालन पर लगातार निगरानी रखना जरूरी है ।

कुल मिलाकर इस मंडल पर 178 जोड़ी मेल/एक्‍सप्रेस गाड़ि‍यां, 29 जोड़ी पैसीजर गाड़ि‍यां तथा 04 जोड़ी नैरो गेज की पैसीजर गाडि़या संचालित होती हैं ।

किन्‍तु कोविड-19 महामारी के दौरान झांसी मंडल कुल मिलाकर औसतन 139 स्‍पेशल कोचिंग गाड़ि‍यां और हॉलीडे/फेस्टिवल स्‍पेशन गाड़ि‍यां तथा 158 माल गाड़ि‍यां प्रतिदिन संचालित करता है ।

मंडल के परिचालन विभाग के शीर्ष पर वरिष्‍ठ मंडल परिचालन प्रबंधक (समन्‍वय) पद स्‍थापित हैं जिनकी सहायता के लिए वरिष्‍ठ मंडल परिचालन प्रबंधक (गुड्स एवं जनरल), मंडल परिचालन प्रबंधक (कोचिंग) तथा सहायक मंडल परिचालन प्रबंधक पद स्‍थापित हैं । फील्‍ड ऑफि‍सर के रूप में एक पद स्‍टेशन निदेशक/झांसी (जूनियर स्‍केल) का भी है ।

4.         PROFILE OF TRAIN OPERATIONS

Jhansi division is spread from BINA /WCR( excluding) to DHO (excluding) B.G. double line ‘A’ route which is divided into  02 sections viz, BINA-JHS & JHS-DHO and 07 branch lines i.e. JHS-CNB, JHS-MKP, MBA-KURJ,BNDA-CNB, GWL-UDMR, LAR-KURJ &  AIT- KNH. In additional to above B.G. section, there is 01 branch line section of N.G. i.e. GWL-SBL-SOE.

The division has 163 stations of all categories, which  are as under :-

4.1       Major Yards.

 

4.2       Jhansi

JHS is a very impotent station keeping in view of handling of through north- south coaching traffic. Presently JHS station is having 05 platforms   for handling of through Mail Express trains , In addition to that 03 bay platforms are also available at JHS for origination/termination of divisional Mail Exp/ Passenger Trains.

JHS is an intermediate goods yard also for handling of goods rakes, POH wagons for workshop, loaded rakes for goods shed, military special rakes and traction changing trains. There is carriage & wagon examination depot for freight stock, which examines 1 to 2 rakes every day.

Further Jhansi is also having major passenger depot where 16 rakes of passenger trains are maintained. The yard consists of 3 by-pass lines of full length, 2 R&D lines, 3 UP dispatch lines, 2DN dispatch lines ,and 11 marshalling lines (of less than standard length). 

4.3      Gwalior

GwL is also a very impotent station keeping in view of handling of through coaching traffic. Presently GWL station is having 04 platforms  for handling of through Mail Express trains .

Gwalior has also an intermediate yard, which has been shifted to RRU recently, now GWL is a major coaching maintenance yard and depot both for BG and NG trains.

5     STREAMS OF FREIGHT TRAFFIC

Primarily North South freight traffic is run on the double line electrified section of JHS-DHO    &          JHS BIN section.

10.  Efforts of BDU

1.   During  Oct 20 to JAN 21.  total 10 rakes of fly Ash have been loaded from LPGU siding for the destination of Punjab and U.P

 

2.     On 24.09.2020 M/S Khaitan fertilizer has loaded 21 BCN of fertilizer from JHS  to JEA  this has given an  additional earning of Rs.11,54,405/- and  up to Nov.2020 M/s Khaitan has loaded 03 rakes of 21 BCN each of fertilizer.

3   During  August to October Piece meal loading of POL has also been organized from RPGU .            The details are as under:-:-

I,             August  2020   -   18 BTPN for BSB.

Ii .           August  2020   -   32 BTPN for BPCM

iii.            October 2020   -   22 BTPN for BSB.

 

4    On 20.09.2020 11 wagons has been loaded from JHS to RRU as piecemeal  loading  this has also given an additional earning of Rs.1,99,915/-

   5    In sep 2020 total 07 rakes including 06 rakes of DOC and One rake of wheat have been loading from RRU and MRA to the destinations of Bangladesh  this is the best ever DOC loading for Bangladesh.

6.     In October 2020 Highest ever 09 Goods rake (5 rakes wheat & 04 rakes of DOC) dispatched for Bangladesh..

7.     The food Grain  last loading from  MLAR on 10.03.2019 and  Restarted from Nov. 2020 the first rake has been loaded on `11-11-2020 and in current month total 05 rakes of food grain have been loaded.

8.     The loading of ballast from KBR has again started and in Nov.2020 the first rake of 45 BOBYN of ballast has been  loaded on 24.11.2020.

          9   In Dec 2020 division has loaded  first time Millet(cktjk) from MRA .on 26.11.2020 division has loaded 42 BCN Millet (cktjk) from MRA to the destination of NSZ (BPL) this has given an additional earning of 13.67 lac .

     10  In Dec 2020 division has first time loaded the Sand commodity from BNDA station .On 28.12.2020 the first rake of sand consisting 21 BoxN have been loaded from BNDA to the destination of BTE RAJ. This has given an additional earning of 11.67 lac.

            Further in Jan 21,01full rake of 58 box N of sand, has again loaded from KID & this has also  given an additional earning of 21.34 lac.

      

            11    During Jan 2021division has loaded 07 rakes (including 04 mini rakes )of food grain for the destination of GIM ,KDLP,SRVA &SAMT etc this has given an additional earning 1.96 crores
