2.3CONTROL OF RUNNING STAFF
·The cadre control of entire running staff is with Sr DEE/OP/JHS.
·At GWL, BNDA & MBA booking of running staff and sanction of leave is done by O&F/JHS while at JHS, LAR, ORAI & AIT it is done by Electric (OP). At JUI, booking is done by ALD division on day to day basis and sanction of leave is done by O&F/JHS.
·D&AR and Technical control of DSL running staff is with Mechanical (O&F) over JHS division

4. BANDA DEPOT
BANDA is one of the important Junction station located on Jhansi-Manikpur. Banda is connected to Kanpur, Jhansi, Satna, Allahabad and Lalitpur via Mahoba-Khajuraho by Diesel traction. Most of the Goods traffic originating from different Loading points of the Jabalpur division is going to Kanpur via Banda and the Empty rakes are also moving to Stana through Banda point.

5.GWALIOR
DIESEL SHED NG
The present diesel shed was initially a steam loco shed. It is situated near Gwalior station. It serves Narrow Gauge Section of Gwalior – Sheopur-Kalan. Three bays available in shed, one for heavy repair/schedule and two for light repairs. The heavy repair bay is having 20.5 tons EOT Crane and light repair is having 3 tons EOT. This shed is also capable to undertake major overhauling of engines. According to the RDSO, schedule of NDM-5 locos are being done i.e Trip, Monthly, Half Yearly, Yearly and 2 Yearly bases.
